Learn how to make hamantaschen at a virtual Baked by Yael hamantaschen-making class on Monday, February 22 at 4:30 p.m. featuring Special Guest EDCJCC CEO Dava Schub and her daughter, Benna!

We will provide you with hamantaschen dough (pre-made at Baked by Yael) as well as 3 different hamantaschen filings:  apricot, raspberry, and chocolate.  We’ll show you how to roll out the hamantaschen dough, cut it into circles, add the filling, shape the hamantaschen, and bake it!

Baked by Yael will donate 20% of each registration fee to the EDCJCC.

Classes last 45-60 minutes.  The exact number of hamantaschen varies, but we will give you enough dough to make approximately one dozen standard-size hamantaschen.

This class is geared towards children, but is suitable for participants of all ages.

Registration fee includes materials for one participant:  pre-made hamantaschen dough, apricot filling, raspberry filling, chocolate filling, egg, parchment paper, cookie cutter, and pastry brush.

You will need:
– Rolling Pin
– Teaspoon
– Oven
– Masking tape to hold parchment in place (or pastry mat)
