Join the EDCJCC’s Families Serving Together for national MLK Day of Service!
This MLK Day honor Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy with your family by working together to help those facing hunger in our community.
We will hear from Mazon, the premier Jewish organization fighting hunger, and work on a few different food-related service projects to benefit people who are food-insecure in the DC area. Everything we make will benefit those facing hunger in our communities.
This program is intended for children ages 3+ but everyone is welcome. Please note: we will be using products that contain gluten and dairy. No nut products will be used.
When: Monday, January 20, 2:30 – 4:00 PM
Where: Edlavitch DCJCC, 1529 16th Street, NW
Registration: We request a $20 per family registration fee to help offset the cost of food and supplies. If this is in any way prohibitive to your participation please email Sonya at firstname.lastname@example.org. Pre-registration is required for this program, and we expect it to fill up quickly!
