DESCRIPTION:This event is now sold out. We look forward to seeing you soon! \n\n\n\nJoin GLOE for this annual event to celebrate Passover through an LGBTQ+ lens. Now in its eighteenth year\, the National Rainbow Seder is one of the nation’s largest and longest-running Passover seders for the queer Jewish community and its allies. \n\n\n\nThis year’s theme\, Liberation for All Who Journey: Remembering\, Resisting\, Rebuilding\, invites us to retell the Passover story through a queer lens\, honoring our ancestors’ path to freedom alongside the hard-fought progress of the LGBTQ+ equality movement. Our specially commissioned Haggadah (the Jewish text containing the Passover story) weaves ritual\, resistance\, and joy into an evening where we can show up fully and celebrate liberation together. \n\n\n\n5:30 PM: Doors open6:00 PM: Seder starts \n\n\n\nSeder will be led by Rabbi Atara Cohen\, Rabbi Avigayil Halpern\, and rabbi dr koach baruch frazier. Our featured keynote speaker will be Reverend Diego Miguel Sanchez\, Vice President\, Policy and Government Affairs\, PFLAG National. \n\n\n\nThis Rainbow Seder will also be a chance to honor the life and legacy of Michael Singer\, our dear friend\, GLOE co-chair\, and longtime EDCJCC board member. For decades\, Michael committed himself to building joyful community under the belief that sharing our stories with strength and pride helps create spaces where everyone can feel seen\, safe\, and celebrated. We hope you’ll join us as we honor Michael’s legacy and carry forward his courageous commitment to inclusion and community. \n\n\n\nRegistration:$54: Early bird admission through March 15$72: General admission after March 15$120: Mensch ticket – help subsidize the cost of a ticket for someone who doesn’t have the financial means to attend \n\n\n\nSponsorship:$500: Silver sponsorship – listing on website and event materials; four tickets to the event$1\,000: Gold sponsorship – social media mentions; listing on website and all event materials; eight tickets (full table) to the event$1\,800: Chai sponsorship – special recognition from the podium at the event; social media mentions; listing on event materials as leading sponsor; eight tickets (full table) to the event \n\n\n\nIf you have any questions\, if you would like a student discount\, or if the cost of this program is prohibitive\, please contact Alex Chaves at achaves@edcjcc.org. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeading Sponsor:Harrison\, Stein PC \n\n\n\nGold Sponsors:Jonathan Edelman and Emmanuel Banks Mindy Gasthalter Rachel Wolkowitz  \n\n\n\nBeverages provided by Bet Mishpachah  \n\n\n\nThank you to our promotional partners: Adas Israel Congregation\, Bet Mishpachah\, Embassy of Israel\, GatherDC\, Honeymoon Israel\,  Luv with Lev\, NJB+ DC\, Nice Jewish Girls\, and Washington Hebrew Congregation.
